Are you a recent graduate, transitioning from university to the professional world? The “Launch to Work: Africa” program is designed specifically for African graduates residing in Africa, helping you successfully navigate the challenges of entering the job market.

Ready to kick-start your career after graduation? Launch to Work: Africa is here for you! This exciting employability program is part of the Global Scholarship Program and brought to you in partnership with Industry Immersion Africa (iiAfrica).

That’s why Launch to Work: Africa is all about helping you bridge the gap between what you learned in the classroom and what employers are looking for right now. You’ll gain real-world skills in digital technology, professional development, and workplace learning, giving you exactly what you need to succeed and stand out in today’s fast-changing job market. Our mission? To help you access real, rewarding career opportunities that matter.

What’s in it for you?

  • Five weeks of action-packed online training: Dive into practical skills like digital know-how, data literacy, professional communication, and career readiness. The training focuses on what employers really want, so you’re prepared from day one.
  • A three-month internship: Put your new skills to the test and get hands-on experience that will help launch your career.
  • Career coaching and mentorship: Get guidance from experienced professionals who will support and inspire you along the way.

Who can apply?

You’re between 18 and 30 years old.

You live in an African country.

You have a recognized university or college qualification.

You’re facing economic challenges and are from a group that doesn’t always get these kinds of opportunities.

You’re eager to learn, grow, and take charge of your professional journey.

You’re ready and able to participate fully online and available for the whole program.

You’re willing to show up, complete assignments, and give it your best.
